Russell Construction to manage historical renovation project at Bennington College
Bennington College is planning a multi million dollar renovation of the historic Commons building and chooses Russell as Construction Manager
The Commons Building is a historic 36,000 sf structure that is the center piece of the Bennington College campus. It currently houses the main dining facility on campus, the post office, health and psychiatric services, the masters in fine arts program and a third floor that has been unused for many years. The renovation will bring the building up to current codes, provide class room and learning space on the third floor and provide connections through the building that have never existed before. A complete redesign and overhaul of the dining facility is another focus of the project.
And while the College had previously engaged Christoff:Finio Architecture from NYC to re-imagine the Commons Building, it has now entrusted the Pre-Construction and Construction Management to Russell Construction Services.
We are proud and appreciative of our continuous relationship with Bennington College and we are looking forward to this project and to servicing the College.
