John A. Russell, Jr.
Chairman of the Board
Since 1977, John Russell Jr. has been president of the company his father founded in 1934. During this time, Russell has taken the company from local prominence to one of the largest construction firms in the State of Vermont. A Rutland native who graduated from Rutland High School and Wentworth Institute, Russell has been determined to remain a fixture in the Vermont construction scene. An active member of his community, Russell has been involved with a number of committees and has coordinated several legislative action initiatives designed to improve the economic climate to attract and retain manufacturers and industries in the greater Rutland area.

John’s strong leadership ability was evident early in his military career.
